Defining needs and requirements
Detail from the INRAP synoptic diagram
We assist the project team to prepare schedules and requirement documents that specify the functionality, usability, performance and adaptability of the new system. We summarize this in the form of diagrams and wire frame models, a form that both technical and non-technical staff can easily evaluate.
Choosing appropriate technology
We assist our clients to choose technology vendors by defining the requirements and technical specifications for technologies such as content management systems and search engines.
We have more than ten years experience working with content management systems and search engines. As independent consultants, we are not invested in recommending any system integrator or specific technology. We analyze the following elements:
- Authoring and administration (administration interface, WYSIWYG authoring tools, support for CSS)
- Management (workflow, backup, archiving, statistics)
- Publication (choice of templates, staging of publication)
- Presentation (speed of presentation, accessibility)
- License agreement (cost, guarantee, maintenance)
- Documentation and training
- Technology (implementation in the information system)
Change management: online training, documentation, publications
Introductory leaflet for the new L'Oréal Recherche Intranet
Introducing new systems and content into an Internet or Intranet system meant as improvements can disturb existing business practices. To manage this transformation, we can take responsibility for planning the change, ensuring communication throughout the project team and user community. We can write documentation and create training modules using a variety of e-learning delivery technologies.
Workshops to facilitate planning and decisions among teams
We organize structured workshops to bring together members of the different divisions within an organization — communications, technology, product and service leaders — to facilitate discussion and planning. The results of these workshops are concrete planning documents that lead to decisions based on agreement within the teams.
