We create maps of the current and/or planned web site or application. The visualization of web site architecture is the foundation of our practice. Our techniques capture the complex relationships among pages on a web site. We apply both isometric and flat diagramming technique to capture overviews, details, processes, and catalogues.

The visualization is critical to support, validate and direct discussion within the team. This discussion, in turn, influences our recommendations for the new architecture. A single visualization can summarize and communicate details about hundreds of pages on a site, or hundreds of web sites in an enterprise.

- Visualization follows information architecture analysis
- Visualization unites the members of the web development team
- Visualization comes before wireframes or storyboards
- Visualization comes before visual design ideas are developed
The final architecture is presented to the team in the form of a narrative report and supporting visualizations. We present an overview of the site architecture, and details of major pages and other complex relationships. The report specifies the organization of the site and the navigation system required to support its successful operation. This specification can be extended to include the editorial process required to support management of the content.
